Passion and Pursuit

 Last night as I worshiped,  God stepped in the room.  His presence was so strong that I began to weep, it was as if He had come in and put His arms around me and said , "Let it go, right here on my shoulder" As I cried, every negative feeling that I felt over the past few weeks subsided. Feelings so negative I prefer not to express what they were.  It was a trying and emotional roller coaster sort of experience.  Some days I was rationale other days very irrational. It was a situation that I had brought on myself but, I still felt wronged. I would often hear His still small voice. "It could be worse" " You can't blame anyone for this"  "You did this." When God speaks it is good to simply listen and quickly obey Him.  Oh had I just listened to Him. It's 12:31 AM and I can't sleep, my six year old is wide awake, he is speaking and doing things to make me laugh.  Just when I was having a low moment he sat on the bed with his arms in a meditation yoga pose, I couldn't help but crack up.   I welcome his jokes. Why can't I go to sleep?  I am feeling the heavy weight of guilt. I came across this poem I wrote in 2008,  today enjoy: Why? Aren’t you in Love with Him? It is a natural thing When you’re in love To praise someone It is a natural  When you’re in love to please To please someone It’s a natural thing When you’re in love To be excited about  someone So why aren’t we Christians Excited, enthused, happy Why are we hesitant To praise God. After months well almost over a year , I finally used the voice again. But this time it was different ... I wanted to be used by God. I am in love with God, I desire Him like never before and there is nothing more important than being in His presence. It took me a while to realize that I cannot live without His presence. Literally! I have got  to have Him, must stay in Him or else... I become a total mess. He is my joy... there is nothing and no one I want more , and I have learnt that I can do nothing without my Lord.  He is my reward, he is my "Ishi" ... Lover of my Soul. So what got me to this place... a series of misfortunate events but God !!! He is great and awesome amazing!!! He never gives up on us.  When you think you're at your worst , he still loves you. I want you to know that no matter what you've done or where you've been He still loves and cares for you and is totally in love with you. ...

There is nothing God wants more than for us to spend quality time with Him. Where we become intimate with Him. Holding back nothing, exposing everything.   When He does not get that from us He tends to pursue us. Woo us back to Him.  Like I always say "by any means necessary".  His methods are not always what you would expect, but the results are astounding.  He will drive you to your knees with some unconventional things. He is the greatest lover, the ultimate Casanova, and he is a relentless pursuer.  He is amazing ! We are indeed His bride !
