Happiness is a Choice

Choose to be happy, despite what you face

At the end of the day, God will recompense

He said vengeance is mine,

It may take a while, but evil doers will pay

Their fate is sealed

They will reap what they sow

It may take a while but every dog has his day


Choose to smile , when they want you to frown

Live life to the fullest

While they lurk in the background

Haters will hate

That’s what they do best

You cannot succumb

To their scheming mess


Laugh long, laugh hard

It is not right but it is okay

Remember Haman

He who digs a pit 

Shall himself fall in it

Trust and obey

That’s all you need to do

Make sure your heart is right

And keep praying through


Joy comes in the morning

This too shall pass

Today is a new day

Do not focus on the past

There’s still a glimmer of hope ahead

Let it reflect in your smile

Make your days count

And worth the while


Life is too precious , to waste on stress

Remain positive and you will pass the test

Make memories and moments last

Forever in your heart

Hold on to God’s word

His truth will strand 

He is ever present

Let Him be your brand


So choose Life

Joy and happiness

"And then you woke up"  Have you ever had this sarcastic remark spoken to you, right after you told a friend or a loved one of some crazy warped idea that you have, which they couldn't fathom or get. To bring you sharply to reality they usually say, " And then you woke up".  Recently something happened to me that caused me to do just that, not physically but spiritually.  It was something I had promised myself I would never do but I did it quite innocently forgetting my past statement. When my father died it was sudden I saw him on the Thursday and he was gone on the Saturday. It was a shock. I didn't want to accept it. There was a funeral , there were pictures taken it was recorded on video , and I vowed never to watch any of those.  Recently though on holiday or vacationing overseas with my family I found myself doing just that quite by accident. It is a natural thing When you’re in love To praise someone It is a natural  When you’re in love to please To please someone It’s a natural thing When you’re in love To be excited about  someone So why aren’t we Christians Excited, enthused, happy Why are we hesitant To praise God. Why do we find it so hard to please Him? Why? Aren’t we in love? Our faces   Say a lot It’s either you’re hot, In love with God Or you’re not God does not like lukewarm No in between Why, tell me why Aren’t you in love with Him? Selah

He Still Loves You!

After months well almost over a year , I finally used the voice again. But this time it was different ... I wanted to be used by God. I am in love with God, I desire Him like never before and there is nothing more important than being in His presence. It took me a while to realize that I cannot live without His presence. Literally! I have got  to have Him, must stay in Him or else... I become a total mess. He is my joy... there is nothing and no one I want more , and I have learnt that I can do nothing without my Lord.  He is my reward, he is my "Ishi" ... Lover of my Soul. So what got me to this place... a series of misfortunate events but God !!! He is great and awesome amazing!!! He never gives up on us.  When you think you're at your worst , he still loves you.
