I came across this poem I wrote in 2008,  today enjoy: Why? Aren’t you in Love with Him? It is a natural thing When you’re in love To praise someone It is a natural  When you’re in love to please To please someone It’s a natural thing When you’re in love To be excited about  someone So why aren’t we Christians Excited, enthused, happy Why are we hesitant To praise God. Why do we find it so hard to please Him? Why? Aren’t we in love? Our faces   Say a lot It’s either you’re hot, In love with God Or you’re not God does not like lukewarm No in between Why, tell me why Aren’t you in love with Him? Selah 

After months well almost over a year , I finally used the voice again. But this time it was different ... I wanted to be used by God. I am in love with God, I desire Him like never before and there is nothing more important than being in His presence. It took me a while to realize that I cannot live without His presence. Literally! I have got  to have Him, must stay in Him or else... I become a total mess. He is my joy... there is nothing and no one I want more , and I have learnt that I can do nothing without my Lord.  He is my reward, he is my "Ishi" ... Lover of my Soul. So what got me to this place... a series of misfortunate events but God !!! He is great and awesome amazing!!! He never gives up on us.  When you think you're at your worst , he still loves you. I want you to know that no matter what you've done or where you've been He still loves and cares for you and is totally in love with you. ...

There is nothing God wants more than for us to spend quality time with Him. Where we become intimate with Him. Holding back nothing, exposing everything.   When He does not get that from us He tends to pursue us. Woo us back to Him.  Like I always say "by any means necessary".  His methods are not always what you would expect, but the results are astounding.  He will drive you to your knees with some unconventional things. He is the greatest lover, the ultimate Casanova, and he is a relentless pursuer.  He is amazing ! We are indeed His bride ! We know that God causes all things to work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8: 28 You may have gone through some very challenging things that shattered your faith and you may be still be going through those things right now. Some experiences may have made sense whilst others made no sense at all.    I have been through some things in my years on earth, that sometimes left me wandering why.    I have lost great opportunities and made some huge mistakes. I have had friends and lost them because I did not nurture the relationship. There was a time I went from boyfriend to boyfriend searching for something I will never find in a man. There were times when my actions, made me wander whether I had completely lost my mind. I have said things that I should not have and acted like a complete fool.  Through it all I was often tempted to live ...

As we approach the festive season and we begin to celebrate the birth of Christ let us all remember those who are in need. Those in need who may not necessarily show you that they are in need and those who are openly in need.  I am inspired to write this post because I just now felt the need to check on a fellow blogger who I follow, and was shocked to learn that she had been through a divorce.  Her family seemed so perfect and they looked so happy.  I was shocked and still feel the hurt in my stomach for her.  I admire what she had. I immediately went into prayer for her because I know what it is to lose a loved one and not have them around for the holidays. I prayed for strength, for the courage to face the stares of people, the judgment of people, sanity and for peace of mind. The holidays are extremely difficult when you are alone although I am sure she will be with friends and family, but to not have her husband there can be so hard.
