Passion and Pursuit

After months well almost over a year , I finally used the voice again. But this time it was different ... I wanted to be used by God. I am in love with God, I desire Him like never before and there is nothing more important than being in His presence. It took me a while to realize that I cannot live without His presence. Literally! I have got  to have Him, must stay in Him or else... I become a total mess. He is my joy... there is nothing and no one I want more , and I have learnt that I can do nothing without my Lord.  He is my reward, he is my "Ishi" ... Lover of my Soul. So what got me to this place... a series of misfortunate events but God !!! He is great and awesome amazing!!! He never gives up on us.  When you think you're at your worst , he still loves you. I want you to know that no matter what you've done or where you've been He still loves and cares for you and is totally in love with you. ...

There is nothing God wants more than for us to spend quality time with Him. Where we become intimate with Him. Holding back nothing, exposing everything.   When He does not get that from us He tends to pursue us. Woo us back to Him.  Like I always say "by any means necessary".  His methods are not always what you would expect, but the results are astounding.  He will drive you to your knees with some unconventional things. He is the greatest lover, the ultimate Casanova, and he is a relentless pursuer.  He is amazing ! We are indeed His bride ! Some experiences may have made sense whilst others made no sense at all.    I have been through some things in my years on earth, that sometimes left me wandering why.    I have lost great opportunities and made some huge mistakes. I have had friends and lost them because I did not nurture the relationship. There was a time I went from boyfriend to boyfriend searching for something I will never find in a man. There were times when my actions, made me wander whether I had completely lost my mind. As we approach the festive season and we begin to celebrate the birth of Christ let us all remember those who are in need. Those in need who may not necessarily show you that they are in need and those who are openly in need.  I am inspired to write this post because I just now felt the need to check on a fellow blogger who I follow, and was shocked to learn that she had been through a divorce.  Her family seemed so perfect and they looked so happy.  I was shocked and still feel the hurt in my stomach for her.  I admire what she had. I immediately went into prayer for her because I know what it is to lose a loved one and not have them around for the holidays. I prayed for strength, for the courage to face the stares of people, the judgment of people, sanity and for peace of mind. The holidays are extremely difficult when you are alone although I am sure she will be with friends and family, but to not have her husband there can be so hard. Yes he did but he is a lieing wander and a loser whose fate has already been determined. Some of you know who I am talking about. So I am away from most of my family most of the time, as a result I miss them.  Being away from your family most of the time can be emotionally taxing and the enemy sometimes just reminds you of every negative thing.  But he tried it!  Whenever the enemy tries to bombard me with depression , I sing, sing loud and I sing hard. I do not just sing any song though, I sing songs that are filled with the word of God, inspirational songs. "And then you woke up"  Have you ever had this sarcastic remark spoken to you, right after you told a friend or a loved one of some crazy warped idea that you have, which they couldn't fathom or get. To bring you sharply to reality they usually say, " And then you woke up".  Recently something happened to me that caused me to do just that, not physically but spiritually.  It was something I had promised myself I would never do but I did it quite innocently forgetting my past statement. When my father died it was sudden I saw him on the Thursday and he was gone on the Saturday. It was a shock. I didn't want to accept it. There was a funeral , there were pictures taken it was recorded on video , and I vowed never to watch any of those.  Recently though on holiday or vacationing overseas with my family I found myself doing just that quite by accident. Seeing my dad's dead body did not affect me at first, then I saw it again and again, and then I saw him...
