Why " In Pursuit of Holiness"

Recently I contemplated changing the name of this blog, but I felt a strong conviction that it needs to remain as is. Why because too many of us believe that we should pursue happiness or excellence or a man or a woman, but not many people are desiring to go after God.  I am not perfect I am absolutely flawed but the reality is I am in pursuit of holiness, my ultimate desire is to be more like God, to walk as Jesus did.  Nothing else matters really as the outward beauty we have will fade away, the land, the car the things we hold dear will not last. 

What will last is your spirit, the real you, that lives in the shell we call a body. 

It never dies. 


Your spirit is the eternal part of you.  So why not pursue God ? You have everything to gain, Roman 6: 23 says "For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life"  You get to live forever.  Well... where you do so is what is important.  Today you can choose .

If you are reading this post give your heart and life to Him.  Living for God and his way is not always easy but he has promised you that it will be worth it.

"And then you woke up"  Have you ever had this sarcastic remark spoken to you, right after you told a friend or a loved one of some crazy warped idea that you have, which they couldn't fathom or get. It is a natural thing When you’re in love To praise someone It is a natural  When you’re in love to please To please someone It’s a natural thing When you’re in love To be excited about  someone So why aren’t we Christians Excited, enthused, happy Why are we hesitant To praise God. Why do we find it so hard to please Him? Why? Aren’t we in love? He Still Loves You!

After months well almost over a year , I finally used the voice again. But this time it was different ... I wanted to be used by God. I am in love with God, I desire Him like never before and there is nothing more important than being in His presence. It took me a while to realize that I cannot live without His presence. Literally! I have got  to have Him, must stay in Him or else... I become a total mess. He is my joy... there is nothing and no one I want more , and I have learnt that I can do nothing without my Lord.  He is my reward, he is my "Ishi" ... Lover of my Soul.
